“ I love bbq so I had to give Slab a try. I found them through instagram and saw they had a rib sandwich. I gave it a try along with some seasoned fries. I tried their bbq sauces as well and my favorite was the Carolina bbq. I definitely have to go back and try their other options. Great patio seating area. ”

“ This is Texan-approved BBQ! I used to frequent their other location, and I’m so happy they’ve expanded to Pasadena since there aren’t any great alternatives in the neighborhood (sorry Gus’s). I love the lean brisket and cornbread, and my boyfriend highly recommends The Oooh sandwich and ribs. Hands down best customer service. Everyone is super friendly! Plenty of outdoor seating and a few spots inside as well. Lots of parking in the lot. Only complaint is the price (but they do offer a happy hour on sandwiches!). We will definitely be back. ”
“ Let me be upfront it's absolutely delicious, the Mac and cheese is nearly flawless the sandwich is a real meal. With real ribs bone and all absolutely succulent. Best part about the place is the smell it's intoxicating makes you hungrier by minute. Would recommend ”

“ Came to Slab on a rainy California day for some BBQ. We ordered a half pound of brisket, brisket burger, medium mac and cheese, loaded TX fries, and the march special cheese steak. The cheesesteak was ok. I enjoyed the soft bread and peppers in the sandwich but the chopped up steak and cheese formed a glob. The brisket burger was very tasty, the patty was thick and had a slight sweetness followed by the savory meat flavor. The bun was very soft! The brisket was pretty decent. I had better brisket in Texas but since this is California I have to say it's good for California standards. Very soft, where I did not need a knife to cut a piece off. The loaded TX fries were one of my favorites. I feel like the fries alone without the loaded toppings would have been great alone but with the added toppings they blended well together. I love myself a good loaded fries and this hit the spot. The Mac and cheese was very yummy. Not too heavy but still cheesy enough for a very slight cheese pull. Overall I really enjoyed my meal here and would definitely come back and recommend it to my friends and family. ”
